Following the completion of the overarching Pyramids of Giza brand project, we were tasked by the venues operator and owner Orascom Pyramids Entertainment (OPE), to create a new F&B brand identity built around their unique venue concept.
The project is a ‘first’ for both OPE and the ancient plateau, it is the first completed business entity for the new Pyramids of Giza experience, and the first time such a venue has been allowed and be operated within the ancient plateau’s boundaries.
9 Pyramids Lounge is also the first completed F&B venue to be opened within the transformed Pyramids of Giza experience, it has proven to be a huge success for OPE, and a ‘must visit’ venue for visitors and tourists to the plateau.

Surrounded in mystery and awe, 9 Pyramid Lounge a fusion of ancient mythology, hieroglyphics and Egyptian hospitality, linked by one incredible and unique view of all nine wondrous Royal tombs – it is the only location on the ancient plateau with such a view.
9 Pyramids Lounge is guided by the ancient Ankh, symbolizing a long eternal life for the King and the symbol of life itself; the Great Ennead, a representation of the first nine mystical Egyptian gods and goddesses worshipped at Heliopolis.

Just seeing the ancient pyramids is an incredible experience in itself, yet when combined with a visit to the 9 Pyramids Lounge will ensure the Pyramids of Giza visitor experience is even more special and memorable. 9 Pyramids Lounge identity
The 9 Pyramids Lounge identity, takes its inspiration from the number nine – representing all nine ancient pyramids located in the ancient plateau – and the Ankh, which represents ‘eternal life’ within ancient Egypt beliefs. This fusion of the modern and ancient creates a versatile and striking solution, which nicely complements the overall F&B concept.
The clean use of typography, contemporary and natural design elements, and a bold colour palette, all provide an appropriate level of design sophistication, whilst allowing the venues location and guest experiences to remain the focus.
